A one-of-a-kind 3–4 hour safari adventure in Hurghada, with morning or afternoon departures available! Ride a quad bike across the desert all the way to the sea, through the area behind Makadi Bay (a popular desert and mountain route outside Makadi is also available). A stunning, thrilling route awaits you, where desert, sand dunes, rocky coastline, and open sea come together beautifully!

Tourists from Hurghada rarely make it out here, since this program is a bit pricier and only offered by a handful of operators... but it's absolutely worth it! According to feedback, this route is far more exciting than the traditional Hurghada mountain tour.

Prices & Details:

Quad to the Sea: €35 for a single rider, €45 for two riders (provided the combined weight does not exceed 150 kg) 🏍️

Private (individual) tour: +€25 (regardless of group size; transfer to the location is shared/group) 👤

Duration: approx. 3–4 hours

Important! Riders under 16 are not permitted to drive the quad (can be discussed individually on-site); children under 6 may not take part in the excursion at all. ⚠️

What the Excursion Includes:

Hotel pickup to the safari base at around 8:30 AM or 1:00 PM (the exact time will be confirmed after booking; the drive to Makadi takes approximately 30–50 minutes depending on your hotel's location) 🚐

Briefing and instruction on how to operate the quad 📋

Quad ride: Approximately 1.5–2 hours of quad riding (this includes rest and photo breaks). Actual riding time is around 60–70 minutes 🏍️

Camel riding and photo opportunities with the camels are available 🐪

Return to the hotel at around 12:00 PM or 4:30/5:30 PM (depending on your chosen departure time) ⬅️

Each quad group consists of up to 10–15 vehicles. A private (individual) tour is also available for a +€25 surcharge (regardless of group size; transfer to the location remains shared/group) 🚙

The tour heads out across the desert from the safari base toward the sea and back. The group rides in a single line behind the instructor, with planned rest and photo stops along the way 🏜️

Important! If a quad was booked for two people and it turns out on-site that their combined weight exceeds 150 kg, we'll offer a separate quad with the price difference payable; alternatively, one person may stay at the base, with no refund issued for the amount already paid. If someone is unable to safely operate the quad alone, they'll be moved to ride as a passenger behind their partner or with the instructor — in this case as well, the participation fee is non-refundable ⚠️

What to Bring:

Comfortable clothing (warmer clothing in winter, such as a sweater and long pants), comfortable closed-toe shoes, a hat, an arafat scarf (a face-covering wrap), sunscreen, wet wipes, sunglasses or dust goggles, water, and cash for small expenses.
